Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and ReliableReviews (“ReliableReviews,” “we,” or “us”) covering your use of our website, dashboard, APIs, and embeddable widget (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization and “you” refers to that organization.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Please tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

Team accounts can invite multiple members. The account owner is responsible for what members do within that account and for the content collected under it.

ReliableReviews gives you tools to collect, moderate, and display customer reviews — a hosted review page, an embeddable widget with multiple layouts, email invite flows, CSV import, moderation queues, owner replies, and analytics.

The Service is offered on a free-of-charge basis. We may update, improve, or change features over time. If a change materially reduces core functionality, we will give you reasonable notice.

“Your Content” means the data you or your customers submit to the Service, including reviews, photos, avatars, names, emails, site logos, reply templates, and any other information you upload. You retain ownership of Your Content.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process Your Content solely so that we can operate and improve the Service, including showing published reviews to your visitors, embedding them via your widget, and indexing them for SEO when you publish them publicly.

You represent that Your Content does not infringe third-party rights, and that you have the necessary consents from the reviewers whose personal data you upload (for example, via CSV import).

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Collect, publish, or incentivize fake, fraudulent, or paid reviews — including soliciting reviews in exchange for compensation in a way that misleads consumers.
• Misrepresent the identity of a reviewer or approve reviews you know to be from people who did not actually use your product or service.
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or infringes any third party’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Attempt to bypass moderation, spam protection, or rate limiting, or stress-test the Service without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service, or use it to build a product that competes with ReliableReviews.
• Send invite emails to recipients who have not opted in, or use the Service to send anything that would violate anti-spam or consumer-protection laws.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules. We will try to let you know first when we reasonably can.

Reviews submitted through your review page or invite link are authored by their respective reviewers, not by ReliableReviews. You are responsible for moderating reviews on your sites in line with applicable laws and these Terms.

You may hide or delete reviews at your discretion, but you must not use the Service to systematically suppress authentic negative feedback in a way that misleads consumers or regulators.

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to embed our widget on websites you own or operate, using the site identifier issued to you. The “Powered by ReliableReviews” attribution must remain visible.

We may rate-limit the widget API, cache responses, or briefly disable the widget on specific sites to protect the integrity of the Service.

The Service itself, including the site, dashboard, widget code, design, and the ReliableReviews name and logo, is owned by us and our licensors. We do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or brand assets beyond those reasonably needed to embed the widget and refer to the Service.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. By using the Service you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the dashboard. You can export your reviews to CSV before deleting.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, compromise the security of the Service, or expose us to legal risk. On termination, we will delete your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, unless we are required by law to keep it longer.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components, or that any specific review will result in improved conversions, ratings, or search rankings.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReliableReviews will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising out of your use of the Service.

Because the Service is currently provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ReliableReviews from third-party claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and give you reasonable notice — typically via the dashboard or email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and ReliableReviews agree to bring any disputes in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights.
